Om Beach

As its name suggests the shape of this beach is like the most sacred letter according to Hinduism that is Om. It is the most respectful letter in Hinduism and its pronunciation sound is considered as the sound of the universe. This is related to Lord Shiva and at the starting of the Panchakshari chant Om is pronounced first. It is again a point of water adventure sports, Gokarna. Mahabaleshwara Temple

The Mahabaleshwara Temple is the main temple of Gokarna and most famous as a religious shrine. October to March is the best time to visit Gokarna Beach trek. During this time the weather remains pleasant and suitable for sightseeing, camping & trekking. The month of June and August is the monsoon season which is not the advisable time to visit.
