Covid 19 Impact: Hyundai announces six-day maintenance shutdown

Chennai based Auto Manufacturer have announced for annual maintenance for 6 days starting from 10th May during the second wave of Covid 19. Hyundai Motor have market base in India, with its best selling models like Creta and Verna, where company all utmost efforts to safe guards its employee along with dealer network to save everyone from this second way.

“We have reinstated work from home practice for our employees, wherever possible, and have urged them to continue to stay safe at their homes. Our scheduled annual maintenance shutdown activities will take place between May 10 to May 15, 2021,” the automaker said in a statement.

Company is manufacturing almost 7.5 lacs cars per annum with its installed capacity in Chennai plant, where its taking domestic market as well as exports vehicles to around 88 countries from its Chennai plant.

Company is taking all its measures to take care all stakeholders across the country with proper safety guidelines, according to company “Demonstrating our solidarity with the intention of the government to get more people vaccinated, we are organising vaccination camps at our manufacturing plant in Sriperumbudur for our staff through the office of the Sriperumbudur Government Primary Health Centre and with tie-ups with private hospitals”.
