Company have announced stats for April 2021 month where Escorts have sold 6386 tractors where they have sold 613 units in previous year for the same month. According to press release, April month gone sluggish due to lock in various part of India for last year, where its much improved in 2021.
“This time the supply chain had minimal impact from local restrictions owing to the second wave of COVID-19. This enabled the company to build some inventory in anticipation of some pent-up demand as the pandemic situation improves,” Escorts said, adding to it “We have exported 593 units of tractors in April 2021 which was 92 only in April 2021 due to pandemic situations”.
Currently company is under shut down during this weekend and doing maintenance of plant.
