MG Motor April Retails stood at 2,565 Units in India

Press release by MG Motor India where its announced its retail sale figures of April month, which was stood at 2,565 units. Currently manufacturing operations of MG Motors have been on hold due to conserve Medical Oxygen and its being diverted to all healthcare segments.

In current situation, company’s dispatches and production figures was optimum with 3 month production booking for its production line, as they have no stock left at its Gujarat Plant.

According to press release “Going forward, the carmaker does not see any deterioration in demand. However, supply-chain constraints would continue in the month of May 2021. The production will be impacted by the shortage of semiconductor chips globally and the limitation in working hours due to curfews and lockdowns in various parts of the country”.

Now with this second wave of Covid 19, where India is moving towards infection, company have jointly working with Vadodara-based Devnandan Gases to help it increase production of oxygen for medical usage.
