Escorts COVID Updates: Decided to halt manufacturing from 1st to 3rd May 2021

Considering safety of employees and other parameters, company have decided to go for temporary shut down for its manufacturing at selective location from 1st May to 3rd May. As per company statement, “At Escorts, safety and health of our employees, and wellness of our business ecosystem is of utmost importance”.

As per filing submitted by company: “considering COVID-19 spread escalation, as a precautionary measure, we will be temporarily shutting down our manufacturing operations, on a selective basis, between May 1 and May 3″.

Though there will not be any impact on customer delivery, services as company have sufficient amount of stock available. During this shutdown, company is going to take facility under maintenance with essentials presence of some employees on rotational basis.

By Participating into this scenario, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki and Toyota, come forward to make temporary suspension of their plant activity.
